Along with rain came what thus far has become another camino staple, hills, today's treat was the Alto de Perdon which you see from afar and know that you are going to have to of up and over, it is a little over 300 meters I height so not bad, just a long climb. I hopefully have posted a view from the top, the city in the far distance is Pamplona. Of course what goes up must come down, why would you stay on the ridge when you can exercise both sides of your leg muscles. There is. Picture looking forward from the ridge as well.
My one target on this trip was to see an old Templar church called Ste Eunate. It required a detour of a little over 4 kilometres, sadly after making the detour the church was closed, such is life, what is another few kilometres added on to an already 24 km walk.
Now in the quiet tone of Punta la Reina, famous for its bridge, remarkable to think how many people have walked this bridge over more than a thousand years.
Looking back to Pamplona

We are loving the addition of the photo's to the blog. The picture of the bridge is stunning. Nice work on figuring out the technical part. Hopefully your legs and feet are starting to get into the rhythm of the trek, now that you're almost 100km (?) along. Great work! Love you.
